Standard: Conduct scientific activities and research by using tools to collect, classify, and examining data
Objective: Students collect, identify, and classify plant specimens into families. Plants will be dried and appropriately identified and tagged.
Duration: 4 hours
Product: Plant exhibit, how to collect, dry, and identify families of plants and make the appropriate card.
Follow Up: Mounting Plant Collection for final Exhibit.
Workshop for other students on how to collect, dry preserve and identify plants.
